1. Introduction
For legal compliance, a release form is required. The structured process ensures a safe environment for all participants. While not considered therapy, it is acknowledged to be highly therapeutic. Enjoy the experience.
I desire to participate in the Awareness Intensive Retreat (“the Retreat”) with Vanya Panamska (Leela) and Rainer Jankowski (Vardha) (“the Facilitators”) for the Retreat to be held March 13–16, 2025, in Nieprześnia 1, 32-700 Nieprześnia, Poland (“the Facilities”).
This Retreat is an educational program. It is not therapeutic in design, intent, or methodology and is not a substitute for medical treatment, psychotherapy, or any health program, regardless of what you might have heard from anyone. We specifically advise you that the Facilitators are not healthcare professionals and do not supply healthcare professionals on the staff of the Training.
2. Acknowledgment of Risk & Release of Liability
As a material inducement of my participation at the Training, I hereby fully and completely waive and release the Facilitators and their respective representatives, assistants, and employees from any and all actions, claims, demands, damages, and liability for personal injuries or damages to property, which have resulted or may hereinafter result, arising, directly or indirectly, from my participation at the Training or my presence at the Facilities, including any emotional consequences.
I hereby also agree that I and any and all other legal representatives of mine, including my assignees and heirs, will not make a claim against the Facilitators, the Facilities, or their respective representatives, directors, officers, and employees for any injury or damage resulting or arising, directly or indirectly, from my participation in the Training.
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily assuming all risks associated with my participation in the Training and voluntarily agree to accept any and all risks of injury or death.
The Participant acknowledges and fully understands that participation in the Retreat involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, emotional and psychological challenges, potential accidents, exposure to natural elements, unforeseen circumstances, and interactions with other participants. The Organizers and their representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, emotional distress, mental health episodes, loss, damage, or death that may result from the Participant’s voluntary engagement in the Retreat.
In consideration of being permitted to participate, the Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizers, their employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), or losses arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Retreat.
3. Cancellations & Changes to the Retreat by the Facilitators
The Facilitators will make every effort to provide the program as agreed. However, they reserve the right to alter or cancel the venue or date of a course, for any cause beyond their reasonable control.
In the very unlikely event that a course is canceled, you may transfer your registration to another course or receive a full refund of money paid to us. Our liability will be limited to that refund and we will not be liable for any other direct or indirect loss, cost, or expense, of any nature, however caused.
The Organizers shall not be held liable for any cancellation, modification, or postponement of the Retreat due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, political instability, border closures, public health emergencies, transportation disruptions, strikes, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or other force majeure events.
Participants must purchase travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, trip interruptions, and force majeure events. The Participant is solely responsible for securing and maintaining adequate insurance coverage and for ensuring that their policy includes the activities undertaken during the Retreat. The Organizers shall not be responsible for any financial losses sustained by the Participant due to the failure to obtain adequate insurance coverage.
4. Medical Authorization & Health Responsibility
I acknowledge that the Facilitators and the Retreat do not and will not maintain medical insurance coverage should I sustain any illness or injury during my participation in the Retreat. I represent that either I will maintain my own medical insurance policy or that I will bear all costs and expenses associated with any illness or injury which I may sustain during my participation in the Retreat, and I release the Facilitators from any liability therefore.
I understand that if I am on medication, the Retreat requires that I continue to take my medication during the Retreat in accordance with my doctor’s orders. In the event of an emergency, I hereby give consent to medical treatment, including contacting emergency medical personnel and facilities.
The Participant acknowledges that the Organizers do not provide medical services, health evaluations, or emergency medical care at the Retreat. The Participant certifies that they are in a physical and mental condition suitable for participation and that they will take full responsibility for managing any pre-existing medical conditions, medication regimens, or health-related concerns.
Failure to disclose such conditions shall release the Organizers from any responsibility or liability for any health-related incidents that may arise during the Retreat. In the event of a medical emergency, the Organizers are authorized but not obligated to seek medical assistance on behalf of the Participant. Any costs incurred shall be solely borne by the Participant.
5. Conduct & Dismissal Policy
The Participant acknowledges that the Retreat may involve intensive personal development, emotional exploration, and psychological self-inquiry, which may evoke strong emotions, memories, or reactions. The Participant confirms that they are in stable mental health and are not currently experiencing or being treated for any severe psychiatric condition that may interfere with their ability to safely participate in the Retreat.
The Organizers reserve the right to assess whether the Participant is able to continue with the Retreat should their behavior become disruptive, distressing to others, or pose a risk to themselves or the group. In such circumstances, the Organizers have sole discretion to require the Participant to leave the Retreat without refund. Any costs associated with an early departure, including travel expenses, shall be borne by the Participant.
6. No Guarantee of Results
The Participant understands and acknowledges that the Retreat is an educational and experiential program designed to provide personal insights, self-reflection, and communal experiences. The Organizers do not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the specific outcomes, personal transformation, or lasting effects that may result from participation in the Retreat.
While past participants have reported positive experiences and personal growth, the Organizers expressly disclaim any responsibility for the effectiveness of the Retreat in achieving any particular goal, objective, or expectation of the Participant.
The Participant further acknowledges that the benefits of the Retreat are inherently subjective and influenced by various individual factors, including but not limited to personal openness, emotional readiness, mental and physical health conditions, prior experiences, and post-retreat integration efforts.
The Participant assumes full responsibility for their personal development process and understands that any perceived lack of progress, dissatisfaction, or unmet expectations shall not constitute grounds for a refund, dispute, or claim against the Organizers.
